One person has been killed and several others have suffered serious personal injuries in an explosion at a weapons factory in Bulgaria.
The incident occurred near the town of Kazanluk and is believed to have been caused by a warehouse fire.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the factory accident but paramedics were unable to save the live of one worker who had been trapped under a falling roof. Firefighters freed another three men who treated at a local hospital for a number of personal injuries including burns and the effects of exposure to dangerous gases.
Experts are currently investigating the exact cause of the factory accident and it is not known if those hurt are planning to make work accident claims for personal injury compensation.
