Back injury compensation win

No win, no fee solicitors have helped a man from Brisbane, Australia, receive work injury compensation after he suffered a back injury while working on a building site in the Fortitude Valley district of the city.

The 27-year-old Scottish national had been living in Australia for three years working on construction sites when the work-related accident occurred.

He was helping unload building supplies onto a scaffold when one of the bundles he was passed became loose. In trying to prevent the supplies from falling, he suffered sudden trauma to the back.

"I just felt it go," he told local news outlets. "From practically that moment until nearly two months later I had constant pain and muscular spasms."

Press quoted him as saying that he decided to make contact with a no win, no fee solicitor after it became clear that he would not be able to return to work and would struggle to make ends meet.
