A successful businesswoman has instructed her no win, no fee solicitor to commence a compensation claim against one of the UK's leading plastic surgeons.
The plastic surgeon, who has been described as "Mr Botox" and lists a number of supermodels and A-listers among his clientele, has said that he will vigorously defend the claim, which hopes to obtain damages of around £300,000 for a number of "undisclosed" personal injuries.
The surgeon confirmed that he has received notice of the woman's claim, saying, "She has sent a complaint letter from her no win, no fee solicitor.
"It's just a letter from a patient's solicitor to my insurance company allegedly trying to prove negligence, but there is none - at the moment we are just exchanging letters from our solicitors.
"There's no court case, just allegation of facts, and we are counter-balancing those facts. This is in the hands of the insurance company and will be dealt with by them."
Neither the woman nor her no win, no fee solicitor is reported to have commented publicly on the negligence claim.
