A construction site worker from Wareham who won a £3.4 million motorcycle injury claim is to have his accident compensation settlement re-examined after the emergence of footage of him weightlifting, driving a dumper truck and doing DIY.
The 42-year-old won the High Court motorcycle accident claim after his no win, no fee solicitor apparently proved that he was "shattered" and would need specialised care and attention for the rest of his life.
However, the liable insurer has recorded over eight hours of footage of the claimant and has accused him of "out and out fraud".
The lawyer acting for the insurance company commented, "Either [the claimant] is making a truly miraculous recovery or he has told a pack of lies to medical experts, his own lawyers and the court. Miracles don't happen in Wareham."
Lawyers acting for the motorcycle accident claim recipient maintain that he is "entirely innocent".
