A 24-year-old man from Kettering who is yet to receive motorcycle accident compensation for a 2007 incident is aghast at the light punishment handed out to the woman who crashed with into on a junction of the A6003.
The collision left the forklift truck driver with multiple injuries, including a broken shoulder, broken wrist, broken toe, broken leg and broken forearm, all of which will eventually be considered when his motorcycle accident compensation claim is processed.
Unfortunately for the rider, the effects of the crash mean that he has still not been able to return to work, and that for nearly two months was unable to hold his baby son.
While speaking to press, he clearly indicated that he is unhappy at the £290 fine and six point penalty handed out to the 62-year-old woman who crashed into him. He said, "It's a bit of a shocker that she only got what she did. I know she is 62 but I'm still paying for that mistake."
"I have had pins and plates put in my leg."My wrist hasn't healed – it's still in a cast because the pin hasn't done the job so I need another operation on this hand and have got to go back to the hospital in May."I feel pretty frustrated by it all. It's shocking really."
He is now just waiting for his final medical to be performed so that his personal injury solicitor can process his claim for motorcycle accident compensation, and it is clear that he has a pressing need, saying, "We are struggling for money and we have got another baby due in July."My solicitor is still fighting for the compensation because my injuries need to have healed before I can go for a medical and they can see the full extent of my injuries."
