Family want son home from hospital

A family from Dundee in Scotland are hiring a personal injury solicitor to try and fight for the right to care for their brain-damaged son.

Their need for a personal injury solicitor comes several months after the boy fell, injuring his head, while pursuing a recreational activity.

The teenager was in a coma for several days following the accident and has since been treated in the brain injury rehabilitation treatment centre of a local hospital.

However, his progress has been slow, with his family actually claiming his recovery has moved backwards, and they now believe that hiring a personal injury solicitor to prove this may help bring the boy back home where he can enjoy the care of his family.

Sections of the press report that the family have not discussed the possibility of making a compensation claim and, instead, only want the personal injury solicitor to clear the legal path for their son to return home.
