Parents of a girl who hurt her finger after an accident at a Wacky Warehouse have successfully made a compensation claim for their daughter's injury.
The seven-year-old girl hurt her finger whilst on a soft play centre adjoining a pub in Alsager, Cheshire, last February. Her finger became trapped in a store cupboard door which had been left open.
Her middle finger was fractured in the incident and she was taken to hospital by ambulance where her hand was put in a splint for three months.
Due to the position of the splint, the girl struggled with writing at school and fell behind with her class work.
After a successful personal injury compensation claim, the girl has recently been awarded £3,000 against the pub where the incident occurred.
