A woman has died and her partner and young child have been rushed to hospital with severe whiplash injuries following a car accident in South Yorkshire.
The tragic car crash occurred in the early hours of the morning on the A630 near Rotherham and saw the three career into a wall in their silver Peugeot 106.
The emergency services were made aware of the road accident when a passing motorist dialled 999 and paramedics subsequently rushed to the scene but were unable to save the 20-year-old woman passenger.
The driver of the Peugeot, a 23-year-old man, suffered only whiplash in the smash and was taken to hospital along with a similarly injured two-year-old girl.
The A630 was then shut until dawn as traffic officers cleared up the wreckage and conducted an investigation into the incident.
No other vehicles were involved in the car accident and it is unknown if a no win no fee compensation claim is likely to be made by the family of the deceased woman.
