The surviving family member from a road traffic incident at Bwlch y Gle Dam, Wales, in which her relatives died, may make a car accident claim for her suffering.
The incident is believed to have occurred when the car containing the victims was forced to the edge of the road by an oncoming vehicle, and subsequently fell into a reservoir.
Some other reports suggest that the oncoming car clipped the casualties' vehicle, causing the driver to lose control.
The female driver survived, sustaining only minor personal injury, but unfortunately her 66-year-old husband, 84-year-old mother, and two teenage foster sons died in the crash
Dyfed Powys Police arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of causing the four people's deaths by dangerous driving. The motorist was later released on bail.
If investigations prove that the younger driver was responsible for causing the incident, then the survivor of the accident could decide to take legal action against him for having been robbed of her family prematurely.
