Building site accident compensation may follow death

The family of a 48-year-old man, who died when a construction collapsed onto him, may be able to claim building site accident compensation.

The incident occurred at Springfield Farm in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, while the building was being renovated.

The man's identity has not yet been revealed by the police, but it is reported that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the North Yorkshire Police have begun an investigation into the accident in a bid to determine who is liable for the fatality.

Any family members of the deceased may decide to pursue legal action in the form of a building site accident compensation claim for their loss and suffering.
