Compensation claim time limits
If your accident has occurred within the last three years, and was due to someone else’s negligence, we may well be able to help you make a successful compensation claim.
In some claims, such as industrial diseases, the injury will only have become apparent years after the actual negligence occurred. If this is the case, the three year time limit will start from when you were diagnosed.
Special time limits also apply to children, with the three year time limit starting from the age of 18 (16 in Scotland).
